Raymond Smith is known for his mentorship and coaching abilities, providing guidance and leadership support to media organizations and sales professionals in the media sector.

With his extensive experience in media business leadership, revenue generation, and direct sales management, Raymond Smith is a highly regarded professional in the industry. His expertise and strategic approach make him an invaluable asset in driving the financial success and sustainability of media organizations.

 Previously worked with Multimedia Group Ltd, Media GH (Live91.9), EIB Network (StarrFM & Live91.9FM), Class Media Group Ltd and Tonaton.com, in Media Sales Management and service provider for many media outlet and event companies in Ghana and beyond  including Ghanaweb, EMY Africa Magazine, Atlantis Radio, Event Afro Haven (Belgium)

A highly motivated and value driven professional with over 15 + years of experience with keen ability to assess client’s needs and offer the right solutions.

 He leads the AfriMass team on sponsorship/client acquisitions.

With 10years and more, passionate for quality Customer Service delivery and therefore organizes Customer Service training sessions for industries to help bridge the gap in delivery of quality services.

BEDWEI KWAKU SONNY (RHYMESONNY)

MARKETING/STRATEGIST

A poet/spoken word artiste who commands the stage with a presence that is spell bounding. His incredible artistry has received rave reviews from several major players on Ghana’s contemporary art scenes and across the world.

He is a creative entrepreneur who has been an indefatigable champion of the cause of contemporary poetry in Ghana. He is the founder and president of People of Equal Thoughts and Spirit, the organizers of ALEWA: the rebirth of   spoken and poetry in Ghana.

He is a member of World Poetry Movement, Creative Arts Projects Manager of the Arterial Network (Ghana Chapter), Coordinator of Monday Poets on Y107.9fm. He has graced many high-profile events in Ghana including AU 50th anniversary celebration Secret of Gh Girls by KSM, African Youth Conference on Governance.

Sonny provides strategic marketing, brand insight and communication direction for all AfriMass events.

KWABENA GAMELI KUGBLENU

MEDIA AND PR STRATEGIST

Kwabena Gameli Kugblenu has over thirteen years of experience in global, African, and West African communications.

He is the Ghana Lead and General Manager of Infocus BCW Ghana, a member of Global Integrated Strategic Communications Group BCW and BCW Africa. Kwabena joined the agency in 2013.

He has cross-sector experience in reputation management, corporate communications, and issues management having led multiple consumer and B2B accounts for BCW across Ghana and West Africa. In addition, Kwabena is a communications strategist and executive media trainer having prepared many executives at a number of leading companies in Africa and Ghana for journalist interactions.

He brings significant skills in the understanding of journalism and its practices in the context of the current news agenda and the requirement for transparency to bear on his issues-based work. He was a practicing journalist with print and broadcast journalism experience.

 

 

Kwabena has worked in multiple industry sectors including technology (consumer & and enterprise), motoring, healthcare, energy, education, property development, media and marketing, legal, and defence on. Some key projects include AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine campaign drive in Ghana, Fan Milk fit for Growth initiative, and Alcatel-Lucent (Nokia Networks) Internet of Things Africa roadshow among others

Kwabena has also worked on campaigns for Royal Air Maroc, Puma Energy Ghana, rebranding of SHELL to Vivo Energy, General Electric (GE), Oracle, Baker Hughes, thyssenkrupp, AstraZeneca, Beige Bank, the Economist Magazine, Nokia, Alcatel Lucent, Cambridge International, Spinal Clinic among others.

Kwabena has held prior leadership roles at Junior Achievement (JA) Ghana, a member of Junior Achievement Worldwide, one of the world’s most respected global non-profit youth organizations.  Kwabena was in charge of Communications, Programme Management, and Stakeholder relations with funding from Absa Ghana Limited, Coca-Cola, Newmont Ghana Gold, DHL, Fidelity Bank, Goldfields, The American Chamber of Commerce, etc

Kwabena over the year has provided external media and public relation strategic direction for all AfriMass events and projects.

Kuukua Adams is an accomplished entrepreneur and business professional with an impressive track record in various sectors and CEO & Founder of Clay Group:

Kuukua’s vision extends beyond her own businesses. She is committed to leading African Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)especially women-led businesses to the global forefront. Moreover, she seeks to inspire young leaders to become employers of choice. With over 7 years of experience, Kuukua has honed her skills as a self-taught Business Process Redesign Expert and Internal Audit professional. She has a strong track record of developing compliance mechanisms and systems to enhance internal control processes. Her expertise has benefited over 100 businesses across various sectors, including tech, FMCG, manufacturing, education, construction, financial services, fashion, hospitality, media & entertainment, and more. Kuukua also works as a consultant on various projects, including those related to the creative economy and sustainability.

Kuukua Adams is recognized as an orator and panelist, regularly speaking on topics related to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the

Bright Ladzekpo is Managing Director and CEO of PHD Media Ghana and founder of The Masterclass Accra® and Science Meets Marketing®.

He is a marketing communications professional with 24 years of experience in  driving transformational growth and market leadership for businesses and brands in the Telecommunications, Banking and Consumer Packaged Goods industries in West Africa.

Bright is a pioneer at heart, has a challenger mind-set, and is an industry thought leader who is passionate about trend-spotting, path-finding and innovating for effective brand-building.

He has consistently championed a data-driven approach, the application of Marketing Science principles to marketing communications, and spoken about the implications of Artificial Intelligence for marketing, brands and businesses in Africa.

Bright trained as a biochemist at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana but followed his natural talent into the advertising fraternity to pursue a career and his life’s work. 

He serves on the Africa Rising conference planning committee of the International Advertising Association (IAA), the Executive Council of the  Advertising Association of Ghana (AAG) and the Advertisement Regulation Committee of Ghana’s Food and Drug Authority (FDA)

Mr. Ladzekpo, serves as our leadership patron for industry guidance, insightful thought and direction on all AfriMass event projects for the past 4 years
